NEW VENUE - BUCKMINSTER LODGE - October 7/8 2017
Most of you will know about the National flying centre that is being set up by the BMFA at Buckminster Lodge in Grantham (NG33 5RW).
Work on the runways is still in progress but several aeromodelling disciplines have already started to use the site. Jet models having already successfully flown from the temporary runway they are using while the much larger main runways are seeded.
The JMA has moved to support this new initiative and has booked a weekend date for October 7/8 2017. The standard JMA booking in rules and charge structure applies and can be viewed from this link

JMA BUCKMINSTER LODGE MEETING THIS WEEKEND - REMEMBER THAT THE FURTHER INCREASED FEE PERIOD TAKES EFFECT FROM MIDNIGHT TONIGHT!
MAKING IT £30/£60 day/weekend respectively.
For those that will be attending, the postcode is NG33 5RW.
Camping onsite is available at £5 per night, some of you have already been in touch about this.
There will be model storage in the events building but it is essential that you have a drip tray/overflow tank in place to prevent damage to the floor. Also the use of taxi/overflow tanks is mandatory as the BMFA are very keen to limit damage to the grass caused by fuel spills.
Manny Williamson will be onsite from Friday to deal with any questions you may have.
Camping bookings/contact can be made directly with many manny@bmfa.org so he has an idea of how late people will be arriving.
