COMP ARF HAWK

I am just coming to the completion of my Hawk and am a bit stuck on how to hinge the small inner door on the undercarraige.
Everything else with it seem fine, It seems that this small door must lift first to aviod the door on the leg, is this correct, if so how do you go about it.
Sorry to appear a bit useless but this bit seems a bit tricky, it would be easy to cut out the u shape and leave this door closed, but I would like it to open.
Any help would be appreciated.
