A BIG WOW ON THE XCALIBUR PLUS,FIRST FLIGHT TODAY,

Postby stephen muscat » Fri Jun 12, 2015 6:19 pm

hi all. thought i would share some info on the xcalibur plus.
had first flight today, glad to say it all went spot on,a couple of clicks on the trims and she flew bloody lovely.
on the build.
cg is just what the book says
i have 2 flight batterys up in the nose, turnigy 3300 lipo.
1 3300 turnigy lipo for the turbine up front as well.
the 2 valves and 2 mini servoes up front as well, its a bit of a squeeze but it all goes up front ok.
had to put 150 gms of nose weight in there as well,
powerbox smoke pump inside fuzz ,as far up as poss,
1200 cc smoke tank just sits on top of the main tank.

i must say i am not the best builder but this xcalibur went together so easy.everything just fits.
if you want a big strsss free jet, i would get one of these.
just make sure you have a big car lol,i have a audi a4 estate and it just fits ,
thanks to dave at motors and rotors for the help on this lovely model.
see you at weston dave,
steve.
