2002 DL MB-339

Postby Dave Wilshere » Wed Mar 09, 2016 8:33 am

Did the final checks, set up and first run last night for a local friend. I sold this kit back in 2002 to a mutual friend, who never started it. Dave started in turbines 12 months ago with an Xcalibur and is using this as a next step.
I flew a few of them back in the day with P-80's (even one with a P-120!) This one has a P-100Rx, so is quite a bit lighter than the early models.
JR XG-11 DMSS and JR servos throughout. Spring Air retracts...old school :-)

Didn't Skedge have one of these, went to a CJ around about that time and i think it was either you or Trev that had one.

Yep was Trev, there were a few around we sold. He did a special landing at the Nat's with it when the JMA was welcome on the flight line ;-)
