JMA Honnington Jet Meet, 11-12 September (CLOSING DATE 3RD SEPTEMBER)

Posted by Dick on 2010-08-14 22:57:14 BST

A JMA Jet Meet will take place at RAF Honington over the weekend of 11th/12th of September (thanks to Mick Liston, Mark Hinton and Dan Platts for their help in making this possible).

    **THIS IS THE IMPORTANT BIT**

The security arrangements for entry to RAF Honington have been reviewed and are far more stringent than we have been used to. The requirement is now in 2 parts:

    1. All entrants are to provide RAF Honington Security Forces with detailed information about themselves - this is to be done by entrants providing a completed security questionnaire which will be sent to them by the JMA Secretary, Roger Kilbey. And...

    2. Entrants are also to provide RAF Honington Security Forces with identification documents upon arrival at Honington (details of the specific documents required will be notified to entrants when they receive their security questionnaire).

PLEASE TAKE NOTE THAT UNLESS THESE DOCUMENTS ARE PROVIDED, ENTRY WILL BE DENIED BY THE SECURITY FORCES.

So, if you intend going to this jet meet, you should immediately advise Roger Kilbey (JMA Secretary) 9, Hazlitt Croft, Springbank, Cheltenham, Glos. GL50 0PN email: roger.kilbey@btinternet.com so he can get the paperwork in the post to you (he'll need names of all people going and a snail-mail address).

NOTE: THIS IS A MANDATORY REQUIREMENT FOR ALL ENTRANTS, INCLUDING BURY CLUB MEMBERS WHO HAVE NOT YET GOT THEIR PERMANENT AIRFIELD PASS.

FINALLY...ROGER WILL NOT PROCESS ENQUIRIES AFTER 3RD SEPTEMBER...THIS IS A FIRM CUT-OFF DATE, SO APPLY NOW!
